Spooky Printers tray!
Hello friends
Happy Friday to you all!!
Don't know about you but I'm sooo happy to see Friday.......
Its been such a Loooong week the but the weekend is here....happy days!!
I was hoping that the hubby would tell me I could become a kept woman,
that I never have to work again and I could spend my days getting
inky...........but I woke up and realised it was all a dream!!Ah well
its good to dream x
This week Ive finally got round to painting up a Printer tray.
I have had to move indoors from the shed as it got sooo cold in there
at night but I nearly managed to decapitate myself, (Ive been running
the extension lead from the conservatory window to the
shed)..........ooops!!I forgot about that when I ran back into the house
to answer the phone so I'm now sporting a rather fetching red stripe
across my neck where the lead nearly choked me....lol!!
( note to self, always switch the outside light on!!)
Anyway back to the printers tray.....
for this I used Tim Holtz Halloween Kraft papers, coloured with Distress stains (Wild honey, Vintage Photo and forest moss)
I packed it with loads of Idea-ology, corked vials, light bulbs, pen nibs, plaquettes, memo pins, Ornate plates, film strip and regal adornments
Lots of my own vintage finds!!
The "Boo" was made from grungeblocks that have been painted with Rangers Adirondack paint
I bought the skeletons from a fancy dress shop and gave them the grunge treatment!
The keys......OMG don't ya just love em!!
I have to thank a special friend for them. I got a lovely box of goodies in the post, from the gorgeous Tony, thanks hun sooo much xx
You will find the metal findings here
and I also added a couple of candles
I used Tim holtz stamp set "little labels" for the bottles, the film strip and the negative photo.
And there you have it!!
I might some more to it......as there are loads of halloween stuff around at the mo!
Oooo and check out the new Dylusion paint colours here from Dyan Reaveley from Art from the Heart......I know......I know, I love the dark side, but I'm a complete convert!
I'm particularly loving the Turquoise, cerise and the Lime!!
Yes moi liking colour......and they are all a must!!
Feel free to leave a comment as Love to hear from you,
I will try my very best not to cause any further injuries with extension leads!!
Have a fab weekend and
stay inky
Kaz
xxxx
